YOUR A STAR

Hi all, it is a tad bit cooler here today thank goodness although the forecast says it is going to be even hotter next week for once I wish they have got it wrong.

I have some wonderful news to share and that is my 'Pink Delight' card won the Gem of a Challenge, i was thrilled I have the badge at the top of my blog, I feel so honoured.

Today I have made a card using another Pink Gem image this one is called 'Emma in Torn Jeans' for a change I have coloured her with promarkers.

I used my embossing board for the shapes and when opened flat it is an 8 x8 card, I have gone for citrus colours lemon and lime, the base card is pearlescent I have used one of my 8 x 8 embossing folders, the pearls are Viva Decor, I also used my X-Cut Star die cuts, the sentiment is from one of my Inky Doodles stamp sets, I doodled the frame and the white dots in her hair.

A TOUCH OF CLASS

Hi all, I have made another card that I thought you might like to see, I have actually stamped and embossed the Kanban Acrylic Stamps, this selection is called A Day At the Races, I used WOW gold embossing powder so they do shine, I coloured them all very lightly with Copics, I added some Viva Decor Gold pearl drops, the bp is from Bearly Mine Damask selection, all images and the paper have been mounted onto gold mirri card. I added a bow a punched butterfly and sentiment, the flowers are made from some old fabric I then punched out a small daisy flower topped with pink pearl flowers. The central image has been mounted onto foam pads to give a little depth.

PINK DELIGHT

Hi all, before I get onto my card I would like to thank my dear friends and followers who left me messages on my previous post you are such a wonderful bunch of people.

I am tentatively doing this post of a card that I made yesterday, apart from a project for All Crafts Challenge that I have been working on for the last several weeks this is the first time that I felt I wanted to make a card. I think my postings will be intermittent for a while until I get things sorted in my life but I wanted to let you know that I am still here.

For my card I have used an image from PINK GEM DESIGNS I coloured her with copics, the papers are from Bearly Mine Designs all have been mounted onto metallic cardstock, I added a bow, buttons, sentiment and a couple of gem butterflies.
